IL&FS Milestone Fund - II is acquiring a 74% stake in HCC Real Estate Limited for $122 Mn(Rs.575 Cr), valuing the company at $163 Mn.The funds will be used by the parent company - HCC Limited to repay the Rs 350 Cr loan taken from HDFC Limited for construction.Money Matters Financial Services is the sole advisor for the deal. Blackstone Real Estate Group and Morgan Stanley Real Estate Group were also interested in acquiring the stake.

6) Sivasankaran May Pick 49% stake in Loop Telecom

Sivasankaran may pick 49% stake in Loop Telecom and has been in talks with the Essar group that controls Loop Telecom.
A merger with Loop will give Siva owned STel access to all major telecom circles as Loop has a pan-India licence.
The stake purchase will be in Siva's own capacity through a fresh issue of shares of Loop Telecom and not through Siva's investment vehicle Siva Ventures Ltd.
